The seemingly never-ending parade of butthurt taking place in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade continues, now with failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton getting into the mix. Clinton has her own brand of hyperbole to contribute to the nauseating dialogue, with her taking aim at Justice Clarence Thomas.

There has been a trend going on as of late where the far-left and establishment Democrats have been directing their collective ire toward Supreme Court Justice Thomas following the Dobbs decision. But this collective anger toward the high court’s ostensibly most conservative justice isn’t solely due to the fallout of the Dobbs v. Jackson decision, but what Justice Thomas mentioned in his concurring opinion in said case.

In Justice Thomas’ featured concurring opinion in the recent landmark case, he speculated past Supreme Court precedents resting upon interpretations of the Fourteenth Amendment (such as Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell) should eventually get a fresh set of eyes on them to ascertain whether they are up to snuff Constitutionally.

“[I]n future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous,’…we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents…After overruling these demonstrably erroneous decisions, the question would remain whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated.”

Specifically, the three aforementioned Supreme Court precedents relate to the right of married people to obtain contraceptives, the right to engage in private, consensual sexual acts (a.k.a., gay stuff), and the right to same-sex marriage.

During an appearance on “CBS This Morning,” Clinton spoke with co-host Gayle King about Justice Thomas mentioning these particular cases in his concurring opinion.

King highlighted that the majority opinion from the court noted that Justice Thomas is on his own in wanting to take another look at these specific cases, but Clinton claimed that Justice Thomas is going to keep pushing the issue until the proverbial needle is moved.

“Well, he may be on his own, but he’s signaling as he often did. You know…I went to law school with him. He’s been a person of grievance for as long as I’ve known him – resentment, grievance, anger. And he has signaled in the past, to lower courts, to state legislatures to find cases, pass laws, get them up. I may not win the first the second or the third time, but we’re going to keep at it.”

The twice-failed presidential candidate went so far as to claim that “women are going to die” seemingly because Justice Thomas is conservative – however, Clinton failed to expand on how exactly that prediction will come to manifest.

“The people he is speaking to, which is the, you know, right-wing, very conservative judges and justices and state legislatures. And the thing that is, well, there’s so many things about it that are deeply distressing. But women are going to die, Gayle, women will die.”
