Disgraced Fox News’s Brett Baier Roasted By Newsmax Host For His Defense Of J6 Hoaxer On Live TV [VIDEO]

"Christine Blasey Ford, Adam Schiff. We've seen this show a million times. But take a listen to how it was handled over at Fox."

Although much of D.C. is on a two-week break due to the upcoming July 4th holiday, on Tuesday, the January 6th committee called an emergency hearing to hear testimony from a surprise witness. The witness was revealed to be a former staffer to Mark Meadows named Cassidy Hutchinson. In front of the committee, Hutchinson detailed how she heard that former President Donald Trump fought with a Secret Service agent after he was told they would not take him to the Capitol due to the January 6th rally. While Hutchinson’s claims come from the word of the Assistant Director for the Secret Service, Tony Ornato, it appears that Fox News believed the statements to be true.

Over the last few months, Fox News has somewhat pulled their support for Trump as they haven’t covered stories like the bombshell accusations made in the film “2000 Mules”. But as can be seen in the video below, when it came to the testimony of Hutchinson, host Bret Baier claimed that her words carried more weight as she was under oath, whereas Trump was using nothing more than social media. “We are now hearing from the former President on various posts where he questions her accuracy. He goes after her directly, says he doesn’t know who she is and said he didn’t lunge at the Secret Service agent in the beast. That didn’t happen. He says he didn’t throw his lunch against the wall. That didn’t happen, and that she’s lying. Cassidy Hutchinson is under oath on Capitol Hill. The President is on truth social, making his statements.”

It should be noted that Hutchinson explained how Trump was riding in “The Beast” as he supposedly fought with an agent, but on January 6th, it was reported that he was being escorted in an SUV.

As for Trump, after the accusations were made, he took to social media, writing, “I hardly know who this person, Cassidy Hutchinson, is, other than I heard very negative things about her (a total phony and a ‘leaker’), and when she requested to go with certain others of the team to Florida after my having served a full term in office, I personally turned down her request.”

Editor-in-chief of The Federalist, Sean Davis, was sure to also point out, “The corrupt J6 committee’s new SURPRISE WITNESS was so appalled by Trump and J6 that she…was planning to go work for Trump at his FL residence eight days *after* January 6 (the article was published on January 14, 2021). This Soviet show trial is a joke.”

Users online appeared to have a good laugh at Fox News, writing, “The State Department people at the “impeachment” were under oath as well. That didn’t prevent them from lying. Or equivocation. Specifically, Hill and Yavanovitch..”
