Having gained Hollywood stardom thanks to his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World, actor Chris Pratt recently spoke about the backlash that he witnessed when he posted on Instagram about praising his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, over the birth of their “gorgeous, healthy” daughter. While countless parents are known to scramble online to share memories and pictures of their children, Pratt was the subject of criticism due to his younger son having been born with disabilities.
Speaking with Men’s Health, Pratt admitted to breaking down over people’s comments. “I said something like, ‘Find someone who looks at you the way my wife looks at me.’ And then I gave her some s*** in the thing and said, ‘But I love you. I’m so thankful for my wife — she gave me a beautiful, healthy daughter.’ And then a bunch of articles came out and said, ‘That’s so cringeworthy. I can’t believe Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born premature. That’s such a dig at his ex-wife.'”
The actor, discussing how he felt about the comments, adding, “And I’m like, That is f***ed up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s nine. And it’s etched in digital stone. It really f***ing bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are, to the people close to me, a real burden.”
Sadly, this isn’t the first time Pratt has come under fire as he has been outspoken about his conservative views and Christian faith. Some chastised the actor for supporting Christianity while acting in a film that presented homosexual themes. One critic wrote, “When I found out Chris Pratt was republican and homophobic I cried but years later fast forward to now I’m so happy his star lord has to be subtly gay with Thor. I just hope Chris Pratt is feeling suicidal.”
Another person explained, “The way we could be getting bi thor and peter and it all feels delicious because this means Chris Pratt’s homophobic ass probably hated himself on set.”
Coming to Pratts’ defense, podcaster Joe Rogan said in December, “What it is is a bully pile-on. You see someone being vulnerable and you can snipe at them and you don’t have any repercussions and they’re not in front of you so you attack the guy.”

America is so sick there’s no point in hoping for anything better – RIP all “Good Intentions”.
who ever said those horrible things about Chris Pratt are probably the Pro Abortion people and lead shallow nothingness lives. They are like parasites looking for someone to put down so they feel better about themselves, small Minded little hearts.
He was speaking in the moment, he was being grateful not revengeful, but those who would be are the ones who say such disgusting lies.
Shame on all who remarked negatively over something they know nothing about.
God forgive you and have mercy on you even though you dont deserve it, at least its HE and some of us give mercy and understand compassion
