While Americans struggle to fill up their tanks as gas climbs above $5 a gallon in some states, the Biden administration has been hard at work. The only problem, the efforts from the White House have been primarily focused on placing the blame on anyone other than President Joe Biden. Recently, the President wrote a letter to several oil companies, continuing to blame greed for Americans not being able to afford gas.

Biden wrote, “The crunch that families are facing deserves immediate action. Your companies need to work with my Administration to bring forward concrete, near-term solutions that address the crisis.” But while the same companies have pushed back against the narrative, one trucker didn’t play the blame game, but gave a reality check of how bad it is getting.

In the video, which can be watched below and contains extreme language, a trucker admitted, “Yo, check this out. I know you’re hearing this shit on the fucking West Coast but this shit is going on at [the] fucking East Coast. I’ve been stuck on this fucking overpass since yesterday. Fucking Loves over there out of fuel. Pilot over here out of fuel. All these fucking trucks here waiting. Nobody can get fuel. This guy’s out of fuel. These guys are lucky they got some fuel. Luckily, I got ahold of a farmhand that’s going to sell me 50 gallons of fucking red just gonna get the truck back and park the motherfucker. Everywhere I went, these two fucking major truck stops, the mom and pops down there, everywhere your call – slap empty. So I’m lucky, but they don’t have any fucking diesel exhaust fluid. They don’t even have fucking engine oil in here. It’s gonna get a lot worse. Y’all better be prepared.”

As for how oil companies are taking the attacks from the White House, API CEO Mike Sommers wrote his own letter to President Biden, which read in part, “While we appreciate the opportunity to open increased dialogue with the White House, the administration’s misguided policy agenda shifting away from domestic oil and natural gas has compounded inflationary pressures and added headwinds to companies’ daily efforts to meet growing energy needs while reducing emissions. I reinforced in a letter to President Biden and his Cabinet yesterday ten meaningful policy actions to ultimately alleviate pain at the pump and strengthen national security, including approving critical energy infrastructure, increasing access to capital, holding energy lease sales, among other urgent priorities.”

Although gas prices are climbing and some can’t find it at all, President Biden was sure to put in his letter that it was also due to Russian President Vladimir Putin. “There is no question that (Russian President) Vladimir Putin is principally responsible for the intense financial pain the American people and their families are bearing. But amid a war that has raised gasoline prices more than $1.70 per gallon, historically high refinery profit margins are worsening that pain.”
