Although the leaked document showing the Supreme Court of the United States overturning Roe v. Wade has caused a storm of protests, debates, and declarations,  there has yet to be an official ruling on the matter. The only statement given from the Supreme Court was the document was authentic, but again – no ruling. With the topic of abortion taking center stage, it appears the Democrats have reenergized their efforts at not only fighting for abortion, but securing the 2022 midterm elections. And while that goes on, pro-abortion activists are pouring into the streets.

In the video, which is featured below, a pro-life group decided to hold a small rally outside the Basilica of Old St. Patrick in New York. While the group has been outspoken about its beliefs, and even tried to deter those looking to get abortions from Planned Parenthood, on Saturday, they were quickly taken over by a pro-choice activists group. Take a look.

While the protestors stood outside the church, with a female giving a demonstration, another group, the America First, was also present. Looking past the protester, one man can be seen standing there quietly in front of the doors. He doesn’t say a word, but lets the protestors say and do whatever they like. It should be noted that America First is believed to be part of the anti-abortion movement.

With the weekend dedicated to the mothers in the world, protestors are expected to ramp up their efforts given the holiday.

Just within the first few days of the document making it online, protestors have already made their voice heard. In D.C., Democrats continue to harp on the importance of supposedly moving forward and not stumbling back 50 years. While the Democrat’s stance on abortion has been clear for some time, recently, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appeared to suggest that a “nationwide” abortion ban could happen if the ruling is overturned.

As of now, if the ruling was to be overturned by the Supreme Court, abortion would NOT be illegal across the United States. The topic of abortion would become a state issue. Speaking about the potential ruling, McConnell said, “If the leaked opinion became the final opinion, legislative bodies – not only at the state level but at the federal level – certainly could legislate in that area. And if this were the final decision, that was the point that it should be resolved one way or another in the legislative process. So yeah, it’s possible.”

McConnell added, “With regard to the abortion issue, I think it’s pretty clear where Senate Republicans stand. And if and when the court makes a final decision, I expect everybody will be more definitive. But I don’t think it’s much secret where Senate Republicans stand on that issue.”
