The Sexualization Of Politics

You don't get credit for who you're boinking.

Ernest Hemingway reportedly said there are only two topics fit for writing about, “God and f***ing.” Well, modern society seems to have followed half of Hemingway’s advice to an absurd degree.

So much so that new White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made an identity politics fetish out of who she is sleeping with in front of the White House press corps last week. Said Jean-Pierre, “I am obviously acutely aware that my presence at this podium represents a few firsts. I am a black, gay, immigrant woman, the first of all three of those to hold this position.” The pertinent question that should have followed was: Who cares?

Jean-Pierre is embracing the sexualization of politics to such a point she seems to want credit for who she is taking to bed. This isn’t a new phenomenon. For decades now completely superfluous lifestyle factors have been deemed by the cultural left as essential qualifications for jobs or praise.

Be it race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, etc. all commend themselves as boons to the left. What if the situation was turned around? Can you imagine the outcry?

If I took the podium in the White House briefing room and said,  “I am a Latin, straight, native born guy, not the first of all three of those to hold this position.” First off, there would be looks of incredulity at someone foolish enough to identify as a white (yes, Latins are white. It’s an ethnicity, not a race.) straight male in the Biden administration. Then there would be collective hisses followed by an immediate editorial in the Washington Post demanding my firing and or resignation because I was “not attuned to the challenges of non-binary people of color” or some other such bosh.

What the WaPo and its ilk don’t get is that you don’t get extra credit for your birthplace, your color, your gender, or your sexual orientation. An individual has nothing to do with the first three of those and the last doesn’t count unless you’re a porn star. You want equality, you want a level playing field? There you go.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

It recalls the surgical argument, which asks, “If you had a serious medical emergency that required immediate surgery, would you prefer the average surgeon who was a black gay female or the top notch surgeon who was a white straight male?” Only a masochistic lunatic would prefer the average surgeon. The move would be to go with the superior surgeon, regardless of any other factors. Thus achievement, character, and expertise should register as reasons for preference or commendation. The rest of the PC litmus test of favorability is meaningless.

Someone needs to remind that to Karine Jean-Pierre and the legions of hustlers like her who want to professionally skate on superfluous factors. All they are doing is announcing they will be hiding behind PC nostrums of qualification because they can’t do their jobs without those particularly pathetic crutches.

I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.

Her saying what she said and who placed in the position should understand that reasoning was the only qualifications that were needed for the position. Nowhere do we see that certain education or expert knowledge was ever a requirement nor was it stated by her.
