The Democrats might be confident that they can still gain some momentum before heading into the 2022 midterm elections, but at the White House, the Biden administration apparently hired top lawyer, Richard Sauber. The reason being, according to Joe Syracuse, who is a professor at Curtin University, the fact that the GOP is predicted to win heavily in November and if they end up taking over D.C., they will push an aggressive campaign to attack President Joe Biden with the intention of impeaching him.

In the video, which is featured below, the political analyst noted, “They see the Republicans taking both the House and the Senate which will give them oversight investigation and subpoena ability and, and of course, President Biden knows they’re coming for him and they’re going after him, the kid, they’re gonna go after his performance. They’re gonna go after incompetence, particularly, they’re going to start with the departure from Kabul in Afghanistan, and they’re gonna go to the southern border, and they’re going to look at his breeches or things that he said he did during the pandemic, including extending the moratorium on evictions and that kind of thing.”

That wasn’t all, as he added that the chances of the GOP achieving their goal isn’t out of the realm of possibility. “By November, I believe that the Ukraine war will have lost its novelty. People will stop going over there and we’re going to be into an artillery stalemate over there. And I think Americans are going to want to hold someone accountable for inflation. And of course, now with the baby formula and all the rest of it. I think they’re going to come very close to home.”

As the Biden administration takes steps to protect the President, it appears the hits keep on coming from Amtrak Joe as his approval rating hit another low according to a NBC News poll. The outlet revealed that only 39 percent of Americans approve of President Biden and the current administration.

Looking back at the new hire, White House counsel spokesperson, Ian Sams, said, “Dick is an excellent lawyer who brings decades of experience that will be a valuable asset. As we have since the transition, we are ensuring the White House is prepared for the issues we are facing or will face in the future, and we have built and continue to build a strong legal team to conduct our work and serve the public and the President.”

Another White House official claimed the administration was not “making assumptions about the midterm election. We expect oversight no matter which party runs the House and Senate, and we are preparing for that.”
