VANCOUVER, WA – During a child pornography investigation earlier in May, authorities in Vancouver managed to uncover a video of an Arby’s employee who’d allegedly urinated in a milkshake mix container last October.
A press release from the Vancouver Police Department notes that they’d opened an investigation into a man identified as Stephen Sharp over the suspect allegedly downloading and disseminating illicit images and videos of children.
“The Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit at the Vancouver Police Department began an investigation into Stephen Sharp possessing and dealing in dozens of photos and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children.”
Apparently, investigators determined that on at least one occasion, “Child exploitation imagery was downloaded within proximity to Arby’s at 221 NE 104th Ave” in Vancouver. It just so happens that this Arby’s location was where Sharp worked at as one of the evening managers.
Police reportedly interviewed Sharp on May 10th regarding the allegations of child pornography, where authorities claim Sharp “confessed in an interview to downloading and distributing child pornography and having a sexual interest in children.”
Needless to say, investigations of this nature inevitably lead to electronic devices being seized and searched, which authorities did obtain a search warrant for Sharp’s phone and computer(s) located at his residence. It was during this time that the milkshake fiasco was discovered by police.
“A preliminary search by a DECU digital forensics investigator revealed a video of a subject later identified as Stephen Sharp urinating in a container confirmed to be milkshake mix from Arby’s. Stephen Sharp confessed to detectives he urinated on at least two occasions into the milkshake mixture for sexual gratification.”
While authorities didn’t outwardly say when this milkshake video was recorded in their press release, it was alluded to having occurred in late October due to Vancouver Police asking anyone who may’ve purchased a milkshake from that Arby’s location “on October 30 & 31, 2021” to contact the detective working the case and bring forth any evidence (such as receipts or transaction records) proving they’d purchased a milkshake.
Officials say that as of this time there is no evidence to suggest anyone outside of Sharp was aware of the milkshake contamination when the incidents occurred.
Police are still investigating the contents of Sharp’s digital devices with respect to the child pornography case, but he has already been charged with four counts of possession of depictions of minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, four counts of dealing depictions of minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, and second-degree assault/sexual motivation.
Jail records show Sharp was booked into the Clark County Jail on May 10th with bond being set at $40,000. Arby’s confirmed in a statement shared with Law&Crime that they’ve also terminated Sharp in light of the tainted milkshake incident – although it’s fair to say Sharp has bigger problems at the moment than keeping his night manager gig at Arby’s.

It is time to serve up a grand milkshake to Sharp. And one tomorrow. And one the day after. And one the day after that. And… One can only wonder how this guy would be punished in Singapore.
