RINO Rep. John Katko, Who Voted To Impeach Trump Over Jan. 6, Announces Retirement From Congress

Another one bites the dust.

WASHINGTON, DC – Another one of the RINOs who voted to impeach former President Trump for simply making a speech prior to the events of January 6th has announced that he’ retiring from Congress. That person is New York’s Representative John Katko.

In the wake of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump back in 2021, time has not exactly been kind to them – particularly being on the receiving end of harsh criticisms from their constituents for being perceived as party turncoats.

Now, Rep. Katko joins the ranks of Republicans Adam Kinzinger and Anthony Gonzalez who have announced their intentions not to seek reelection in the House. The move is hardly surprising, considering that they’d likely face excruciating primaries with a laundry list of challengers that would remind constituents of their vote to impeach the former president, such is the case with Jaime Herrera-Beutler in Washington State.

In response to Rep. Katko’s announced intentions to depart the House, former President Trump issued a brief but celebratory statement.

“Great news,” the former President said, “another one bites the dust. Katko, from Upstate New York, is gone!”

While RINO Liz Cheney hasn’t been among those to announce her retirement from Congress, she’s certainly managed to become the biggest target of constituent outrage based upon the rhetoric she’s spewed since the failed impeachment of Trump, spreading doom-and-gloom narratives in media appearances if Trump were ever to be reelected in 2024.

Even Republicans who didn’t vote to impeach former President Trump have been feeling the ill-effects of ire stemming from their constituents, namely for daring to align in any manner with those RINOs who voted to impeach the former president.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw is one of those very individuals. His most recent issues stem from when he came to the defense of Rep. Kinzinger back in December. During an appearance in Texas, not only did Rep. Crenshaw come to the defense of Rep. Kinzinger, but he also blasted the House Freedom Caucus by likening them to “grifters” within the “conservative movement.”
