Rock and country superstar Kid Rock recently released a new single called “We The People” that takes shots at everything from Biden and Fauci to Big Tech platforms like Facebook and Twitter. This politically charged single by Rock harkens back to his rap/rock days in terms of musical style and doesn’t leave much to the imagination on how he feels about the current administration or pandemic.

From the get-go of the track, Rock lets listeners know exactly what they’re in store for with his opening lyrics.

“We the people in all we do, reserve the right to scream ‘Fuck you!’ Wear your mask, take your pills, now a whole generation’s mentally ill,” the lyrics start.

Kid Rock manages to call out Anthony Fauci by name in the song, pointedly saying “fuck Fauci” and having “Let’s go Brandon” peppered throughout the track, as well. The song also points out the hypocrisy of the media with regard to how Biden’s approach to COVID at times mirrored former President Trump’s, yet media outlets reacted quite differently in terms of how they framed their reporting.

The song says, “But COVID’s near, it’s coming to town, we gotta act quick, shut our borders down. Joe Biden does, the media embraces, Big Don does it and they call him racist.”

Just about every conceivable gripe frequently mentioned by conservatives are present on this song – Facebook, Twitter, CNN, Black Lives Matter, “social media trolls,” even TMZ is among those that Kid Rock says can “suck on deez nuts” in his song.

It’s certainly a relevant track considering the times, as well as one that’s likely to conjure a few grins and chuckles solely due to the lyrical content.
