Fauci In More Hot Water, Buried Military Documents Refute His Sworn Testimony – DARPA Rejected [VIDEO]

WASHINGTON, DC – A recent report from Project Veritas exposed the repeated lies pedaled by Dr. Anthony Fauci regarding the NIH and NAIAD not being involved in gain of function research, claims he made while under oath, as newly obtained military documents show these efforts were put into motion back in 2018.

Back in July of 2021, Fauci and Senator Rand Paul had a heated back-and-forth while Fauci was giving testimony under oath during a Senate hearing where Senator Paul was asking about controversial research that took place at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the best of Fauci.

At the time, it was known at that the NIH did fund a nonprofit organization called EcoHealth Alliance, with EcoHealth Alliance, in turn, helped facilitate research regarding bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Senator Paul during that July 2021 hearing called what was taking place at the Wuhan lab “gain of function research.”

“No one is saying those viruses caused the pandemic. What we’re alleging is that gain of function research was done in that lab, and NIH funded it. You can’t get away from it, it meets your definition, and you are obfuscating the truth.”

However, during that same hearing, Fauci proclaimed that experts had examined EcoHealth Alliance’s exploits in Wuhan “up and down,” and they purportedly deemed that what was taking place did not meet the definition of gain of function research. Fauci further proclaimed that Senator Paul didn’t know what he was “talking about.”

“Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly, and I would like to say that officially. You do not know what you are talking about.”

Even though Fauci so confidently proclaimed that experts had reviewed EcoHealth Alliance’s bat coronavirus research “up and down” and didn’t see anything that resembled gain of function, documents show that Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in 2018 denied funding EcoHealth Alliance’s very same research because of gain of function elements.

In January of 2018, DARPA Biological Technologies Office issued a “Broad Agency Announcement” (BAA) for what they called “PREEMPT,” which stands for “Preventing Emerging Pathogenic Threats.” The BAA invited proposals to help aid in the prevention of novel zoonotic viruses spreading in areas where DoD assets would likely be deployed.

“DARPA is soliciting innovative proposals for research to develop new tools and models to quantify the likelihood of a virus to jump from an animal host into humans, and to develop and validate new scalable technologies to target potential human-capable viral pathogens in wild reservoirs and/or mosquito vectors to prevent transmission to humans.”

Among the respondents to this BAA where funding could be granted for such research was EcoHealth Alliance, which presented what they called “DEFUSE” – which the “Executive Summary” document regarding the proposal focused on studying “novel bat-origin” coronaviruses.

“Our goal is to analyze, predict, then ‘DEFUSE’ the spillover potential of novel bat-origin high-risk SARSr-CoVs in Southeast Asia and across these viruses distribution.”

EcoHealth Alliance was seeking over $14 million from DARPA to rollout DEFUSE, which 2018 documents show that DARPA later rejected the DEFUSE program for a variety of reasons. Among those reasons listed were because of gain of function research.

“1. The proposal is considered to potentially involve GoF/DURC research because they propose to synthesize spike glycoproteins which bind to human cell receptors and insert them into SARSr-CoV backbones to assess whether they can cause SARS-like disease.

2. However, the proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research.
3. Nor does the proposal mention or assess Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC) issues and thus fails to present a DURC risk mitigation plan.
4. The proposal hardly addresses or discusses ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI).”

A separate report drafted by U.S. Marine Corp Major Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA fellow, went into explicit detail regarding this EcoHealth Alliance proposal, the subsequent rejection by DARPA over gain of function concerns that would violate the moratorium of such research, how many of these documents were buried, and how interferon, Remdesivir, chloroquine phosphate, and Ivermectin were viable “early treatment protocols ignored by the authorities.”

Project Veritas CEO James O’Keefe extended an open question to DARPA officials to see who was behind hiding these very materials.

“Who at DARPA made the decision to bury the original report? They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.”
