With crime spiking all over the country, the Democrats have done everything within their power to make voters forget that it was their own party that backed the defund the police narrative promoted by Black Lives Matter. As a result, many towns and cities have seen looting and robberies take place without little repercussions. Now, not able to run from the obvious anymore, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke about the crime surge and played dumb as to what started it.
During her recent media briefing, Pelosi was asked about the wave of crime sweeping the nation. Pelosi condemned it, saying, “It’s absolutely outrageous and obviously it cannot continue.” She added, “But the fact is that there is an attitude of lawlessness in our country that springs from I don’t know where, maybe you do, and we cannot have that lawlessness become the norm. They coordinate with each other and they plan traffic patterns and the rest so that they can reach their goal and depart very quickly.”
Suggesting that “None of it is acceptable and it has to be stopped,” and “It’s outrageous and it must be stopped”, Pelosi admitted that Democrats are currently looking at two different proposals on how to stop the rise in crime. One would require anyone selling products online to prove they were a legitimate seller. And the second proposal would force online companies to be held accountable for stopping stolen items from being sold on their sites.
While Pelosi is adamant about stopping the crime, her fellow Democrat and New York congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, doesn’t believe crime is that bad. She recently spoke on the matter and said, “We have to speak about details because, for example, we’re really seeing a lot of these charges of organized retail theft not actually prove out.”
On top of Pelosi’s proposals, San Francisco Mayor London Breed introduced his own campaign aimed at stopping drugs and crime. He stated, “It’s time to put a stop to the reign of criminals that are ruining our city. It comes to an end when we take the measures to be more active with law enforcement, more forceful with the changes in our regulations, and less tolerant of all the bullshit that has ruined our city.”

She is either as dumb as I have always thought (shrewd, clever and ruthless, but) or she is not too bright and entering her dotage along with President Biden!! People of the world must wonder if we are completely crazy. We elect geriatrics well on their way to “past their prime” to the highest offices and eject a thoroughly successful President because he irritated us or offended our sensibilities!! And we allow our border laws to be ignored and a hoard of folks to walk in with no papers, no invite, ect. AND worst of all we all know that this policy is allowing a deluge of drugs and human trafficking into our country!!!!
