The Biden administration has been adamant about Americans getting behind President Joe Biden. They have promoted his dismal leadership and even proposed a few nicknames for the POTUS, including Amtrak Joe and Sheriff Joe. Neither of the names would stick outside of the Biden White House’s echo chamber. But while the Democrats might have a difficult time finding the right angle for President Biden, thanks to a new report released Friday, Americans are starting to call him “Hider-in-Chief” as he became the “least accessible” president in modern history. 

Tweeting the news, Jacki Kotkiewicz, director of policy research for the GOP, wrote, “Joe Biden is the least accessible president in modern history.”

Not only listing that President Biden has had “ZERO Sunday show interviews,” “TWO interviews in the last six months,” and “FEWER press conferences & interviews than past five presidents,” Kotkiewicz also shared a link to the report. 

The report lists more than just the times Biden has skipped on the press. It also noted the multiple promises he has failed to keep. The American Presidency Project also revealed that Biden was only listed for one press conference for November. In October, he again only had one. The project added that he had given the least amount of interviews than the last five presidents with facts behind them.

While White House Press Secretary suggested that President Bident takes questions several times a week, Politico hinted that the President’s absence was strategic. “Three months in, Joe Biden’s White House has settled on a firm press strategy: First, do no self-harm. … It’s the Hippocratic Oath for engagement with the fourth estate. And if it means criticism from the press and opponents about Biden’s availability, so be it.”

 

It also appears that Biden is running from the American people as well. The report noted that a group of 43 organizations sent Biden a letter in February asking for more “transparency.” The group wrote, “Transparency is foundational to a government of the people, by the people, for the people.” They added, “We call on you to embrace open government as one of your administration’s most important priorities and one of the most consequential legacies that your presidency could bequeath to future generations.”

Again, that was back in February.
