According to reports, the FBI was apparently aware of veteran CNN producer John Griffin’s alleged exploits for up to 18 months prior to his December 10th arrest regarding arrangements the induvial had with parents of minor daughters that were purportedly being pimped out to him.

In a criminal complaint filed against a mother in Nevada who allegedly pimped her 9-year-old daughter out to Griffin, it was detailed that the FBI knew about Griffin’s alleged immoral appetites of minors for approximately a year-and-a-half before arresting him in Cleveland earlier in December.

As we had previously reported here at Red Voice Media, Griffin was charged with three counts of utilizing interstate commerce to entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity – which the CNN producer had allegedly approached at least three women who had minor daughters where he’d compensate them for sex “training.”

The third indictment against Griffin that envelopes the Nevada mother alleges that the CNN producer paid the woman $3,500 via Venmo to get the ball rolling on the salacious encounter in July of 2020 with the 9-year-old girl.

However, while Griffin was arrested on December 10th of 2021 in connection with his alleged crimes, the mother of this 9-year-old girl was arrested in August of 2020 – which begs the question of why such a long delay for an arrest of the person allegedly soliciting these acts.

After this mother of the 9-year-old girl was arrested last August, federal authorities reportedly seized in September of 2020 “computers storage media, devices, phones, cameras, MicroSD cards, images, and video” that was purportedly in Griffin’s possession; ergo, federal authorities ostensibly had smoking-gun evidence for at least 15 months prior to Griffin’s arrest.

A spokesperson for CNN noted that the network was oblivious to the debacle surrounding Griffin when his devices were seized by the FBI last September, noting that they “had no knowledge about the case” being built against one of their producers and that none of his company-issued devices came up missing during the time of the seizures of his personal devices.

Within the criminal complaint lodged against the mother of the 9-year-old girl, it was detailed that the woman charged in August of 2020 was not the child’s biological mother – but the adoptive mother. And as fate would have it, it was the biological mother that exposed the alleged exploitation of her own daughter.

In the Nevada criminal complaint, it’s alleged that the adoptive mother of the minor sent the child to Vermont, where Griffin picked the child up from a local airport after the purported financial arrangement was made.

Following the Vermont trip where the minor was allegedly sexually exploited by Griffin, the minor returned to her biological mother, who apparently had some form of a custody agreement. However, when it came time for the adoptive mother to pick up the young girl, the woman couldn’t be located.

In an ostensible act of desperation, the victim’s biological mother noticed the adoptive mother had her social media accounts logged into her daughter’s phone – and began posting to those accounts to help find the adoptive mother. But it was reportedly through these social accounts that the victim’s biological mother found the text messages that revolved around the pimping out of her daughter.

Even though the victim’s biological mother knew her daughter had taken a trip to Vermont, she explained that she “did not know anything like this was taking place until after she discovered” the messages revolving around her child, bondage endeavors, sex toys, and the ilk.

This Nevada woman arrested last August faces a litany of charges that include child abuse, sexual assault, and lewdness with a minor, which a handful of them do not directly pertain to Griffin. However, the charges that do involve the CNN producer allege that he observed as the minor was forced to perform lascivious acts with her adoptive mother for three nights until the victim refused to participate further.
