LOS ANGELES, CA – According to reports, a 13-year-old boy who attends Barack Obama Global Prep Academy was administered the COVID jab in exchange for some pizza at school – with the child getting the jab without his parents’ knowledge or consent.

Furthermore, the mother of the teen boy claims the individual who administered the shot to her son told him, “Please don’t say anything. I don’t want to get in trouble.”

Maribel Duarte is the mother of the teen boy who she says was given a COVID jab unbeknownst to her, only finding out after he came home and said how he was lured into getting the shot by way of some pizza being offered.

When her son brought home his card displaying proof that he’d been jabbed, Duarte says that the person who jabbed her son tried convincing him to keep quiet about the matter.

“The lady that gave him the shot and signed the paper told my son, ‘Please don’t say anything. I don’t want to get in trouble.'”

While Duarte has received the jab herself, she said the circumstances regarding her son are different due to his active health conditions.

“He has problems with asthma and allergy problems.”

Duarte feels betrayed by the school infringing upon her rights as a parent, saying, “It hurt to know he got a shot without my permission, without knowing and without signing any papers for him to get the shot.”

The Los Angeles Unified School District is reportedly trying to enforce a January 10th, 2022, mandate for all students over the age of 12 to receive their COVID jab, which attorney Jennifer Kennedy says the manner the school district is approaching this is unlawful.

“The LAUSD does not have the power to add a vaccine to the California school schedule. You couldn’t do it if you were a podunk school district, and you can’t do it if you’re LAUSD, the second-largest district in the nation. You don’t have that legal authority.”

For context, the state of California requires an act of legislation to be passed in order to enforce any sort of mandate regarding administrations of vaccines in order to attend public school. Kennedy has been keeping a close eye on a couple of legal battles against the LAUSD regarding attempts to enforce the COVID jab on students.

A spokesperson for the LAUSD couldn’t confirm whether the incident involving the jabbing of the minor at Barack Obama Global Preparation Academy occurred but did confirm the existence of COVID jab incentive programs in schools akin to what the child described to his mother.

“With the Jan. 10, 2022, student vaccination deadline approaching, the District introduced the Safe Schools to Safe Steps Incentive Program throughout Los Angeles Unified Schools. This program offers incentives to families who upload proof of their vaccine, have an approved medical exemption, or have conditional admissions.”
