Trying to present any kind of success to the American people, on Friday, President Joe Biden celebrated the decline in the nation’s unemployment rate in November.

While the White House and Democrats promote this as a step in the right direction, President Biden mysteriously forgot to mention that hiring in the United States not only saw a decline, but it was so bad that it was deemed the worst month for job creation in 2021.

On Friday morning, before Biden made his remarks, the Labor Department revealed that only 210,000 new jobs had been created last month. That is far below what Refinitiv economists forecasted, which was to exceed 550,000. 

As for the rest of the report, it showed that unemployment had declined from 4.6% to 4.2% with more than 1 million Americans saying they had found work.

Knowing that the second part of the report was more appealing to his administration, President Biden was sure to only focus on that when he said, “Today we got the incredible news that our unemployment rate has fallen to 4.2%. At this point in the year, we’re looking at the sharpest one-year decline in unemployment ever. Simply put, American is back to work and our jobs recovery is going very strong.”

Biden, having some sort of good news to present, even acknowledged the rise in inflation over the past few months as consumer goods are at a 31-year high. But as President Biden sees it, the inflation is okay because, apparently, families have more money to spend. “Even after accounting for rising prices, the typical American family has more money in their pockets than they did last year.” 

And if that wasn’t absurd enough, the Lincoln Project tweeted the video below claiming that Biden is “putting America to work.”
