SEATTLE, WA – A couple of pizza joints in Seattle have decided to go above and beyond with creating dining policies around COVID, as one has decided to openly shame anyone who hasn’t gotten the jab while the other won’t even allow those who haven’t gotten the shot from getting to-go orders.

Windy City Pie is in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. Its website lists its Covid jab policy, which goes even beyond the King County mandate.

While the county mandate allows for testing or eating outdoors without documentation of the Covid jab, Windy City Pie does not provide either as an option.

To eat inside or outside, you must have had your COVID shot, per the restaurant website, which says, “Proof of vaccination required for indoor AND outdoor dining.”

However, Windy City Pie takes it a step further by shaming anyone who has opted not to get the Covid shot, as the text prefacing their online menu tells people to eat out “nowhere” if they haven’t surrendered to the pro-jab mob’s demands:

“IF YOU ARE VOLUNTARILY NOT VACCINATED, PLEASE EAT ELSEWHERE NOWHERE.”

But when it comes to imposing ridiculous restrictions on those who’ve avoided the jab, Breezy Town Pizza in South Seattle really takes the cake. The pizza joint just so happens to be noted as “Windy City Pie’s younger sibling” on their website.

Just like Windy City Pie, would-be patrons of Breezy Town Pizza also require proof that someone has received their Covid shot to dine inside, but at least make an exception for medical exemptions. However, Breezy Town Pizza takes things farther in that even people ordering food to-go need to be jabbed.

“FOR ALL PERSONS 12 AND OLDER, WE REQUIRE PROOF OF VACCINATION (OR MEDICAL EXEMPTION) IN ORDER TO ENTER OUR ESTABLISHMENT, INCLUDING TO-GO ORDERS. FOR ALL PERSONS, ESPECIALLY THOSE UNDER 12, MASKS MUST BE WORN WHEN NOT EATING/DRINKING.”

While Wind City Pie, and their sister location, is a private business and are thus not in violation of any laws with these absurd policies around Covid – they’re not exactly doing themselves any favors by shuttering their doors to those exercising medical freedoms.

Then again, after taking a look at their Yelp reviews describing their pizzas (where words like “inedible” and “burnt” occur frequently, as well as complaints of food poisoning), perhaps their doing a favor for those avoiding the jab.

Windy City Pie posted on their Facebook page referencing their discriminatory policy, saying, “It looks like we’ve caught the ire of anti-vaxx extremists. While we’re grateful for ensuring their followers never visit us, we’re less enthused that they’ve called for the harassment of our employees.

“If you are eligible and medically able to receive vaccination yet don’t feel it’s necessary to do that small act to protect your community from a deadly virus, we don’t feel it’s necessary to serve you pizza.

“Vaccines work and save lives. Kindly go and shill your disinformation elsewhere. And if you’re going to threaten to not do business with us, to you we say: Thank you. We don’t want to do business with you, either.

“Bye, Felicia.”
