Roger Stone, former advisor to the ex-President Donald Trump, spoke out this week to say that he believes that the FBI is acting as the “personal Gestapo” for President Joe Biden.

While talking to John Catsimatidis on his WABC 770 AM radio show in an interview that aired Sunday, Stone discussed slammed the subpoenas that he got from the House committee investigating the capitol riot as “harassment.”

“We have a group of politicized thugs at the top of the FBI who are using the FBI … as Joe Biden‘s personal Gestapo,” said Stone, who was pardoned by Trump at the end of his presidency after he was found guilty of lying to lawmakers.

Stone went on to talk about the FBI recently raiding the home of Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe as they investigated the Biden’s daughter Ashley’s diary being stolen before the 2020 election. Excerpts from the handwritten diary were published by National File just days ahead of the election.

“If a journalist has [Biden’s] daughter’s diary, particularly if the journalist hasn’t even published it, or commented on it, why would you search their home? Why would you seize their computers? It’s very chilling,” Stone lamented.

The Wall Street Journal editorial board has since slammed the raid of O’Keefe’s home as being “punitive,” pointing out that the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press has since filed a motion in court to unseal the documents pertinent to the FBI’s basis for securing a search warrant.

“Those documents better contain very strong evidence of a crime committed by Project Veritas to justify this behavior by a Democratic Administration toward a journalist,” the board stated. “If not, the seizure of Mr. O’Keefe’s records is another abuse of civil liberties by Mr. Garland’s department, and Congress ought to ask what the Attorney General knew about it.”

As for Stone, he also attacked the January 6 committee, claiming that they are using subpoenas like “press releases.”

“I immediately began thinking how many of my ‘Roger Stone Still Did Nothing Wrong’ T-shirts can I sell to raise the money for my legal defense. … This is epically expensive. I’ve gotten 11 harassment civil suits against me — all baseless, unsubstantiated, but tremendously sensationalized — dismissed,” Stone said.

“I’ve still got six to go, not to mention [Congress’] new level of harassment. … They put
enormous financial pressure on you, and they seek to write … a subpoena as if it’s a press release,” Stone concluded. “Isn’t it interesting that they released the subpoena on me to the press before my lawyers even received it and had a chance to read it. What’s that about?”
