The game is over for this year and they lost. But it isn’t stopping Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden from attempting to ignore the obvious.

FNC: “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats aren’t changing course on their multitrillion-dollar agenda despite suffering a devastating loss in the Virginia gubernatorial race Tuesday night as party negotiations continue.

Democrats just weeks ago were hyping the race between McAuliffe and Youngkin as a bellwether election affirming their agenda. Vice President Kamala Harris last week declared, ‘What happens in Virginia will, in large part, determine what happens in 2022, 2024 and on.’

Pelosi was asked Wednesday morning to weigh in on former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s loss to Republican Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin and whether it will impact the Democratic agenda ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.”

“Well, the people have spoken,” Pelosi told reporters. “We respect the results. I’m very sad – Terry McAuliffe is a great leader and he was good as governor of the state.” “Does it change the agenda for the House?” a reporter asked. “No,” Pelosi responded. Republicans hit her on her sad lack of judgment. “The people REJECTED Biden and Pelosi’s Far Left Socialist agenda last night,” they wrote. “Pelosi is a LAME DUCK Speaker.”

Biden also tried a coverup. “I don’t believe and I’ve not seen any evidence that whether or not I am doing well or poorly, whether or not I’ve got my agenda passed or not, is going to have any real impact on winning or losing,” he told reporters. “Even if we had passed my agenda, I wouldn’t claim we won because Biden’s agenda passed.” Then Pelosi, out of general frustration, got testy with the media over the budget vote.

“I’ll let you know as soon as I wish to,” Pelosi said to a reporter who asked when the vote on the budget would happen. “You’re just worried about your own schedule.” She then lied about Congressional Budget Office analysis of the budget.

“We have been all along… we’ve been sending things to CBO. This is not new to them,” Pelosi said. “The CBO also has been… They have most of the information now they have new information, but they have to correlate it.” But when it was a Trump proposal she wanted the CBO all in. “Americans have a right to know #Trumpcare’s impact on their lives. Rs shouldn’t vote without an updated CBO score,” Pelosi said on Twitter in March 2017 as the GOP was trying to pass Trump’s changes to Obamacare.

Democrat moderates ignored her and want real CBO numbers. “We cannot lend our support to advancing the [Build Back Better] Act until we have had a chance to review these scores, which provide the true cost of the legislation,” five House moderates wrote in a letter to Pelosi Tuesday.
