Tuesday was a banner day for Republicans all over the country. With a Youngkin win in Virginia, which we called, and a possible Ciattarelli win in New Jersey, which we didn’t see coming, and numerous down ballot victories, the Republicans are on a roll that could take them to other smashing victories next November. Let’s look at the stories.

1) Virginia- Youngkin timed his ascent perfectly and McAuliffe made numerous own goals. McAuliffe conceded Wednesday morning. School board tumult, defund the police, and Joe Biden drove Independents into the Republican column. Is this a realignment in Virginia? Maybe. But one thing is true, the Democrats are on the run there. It is Bull Run, but the good guys rout the bad guys. And the wonderfully named Winsome Sears? Oh whoa, does she have a future. Along with Jeanette Nunez, Lieutenant Governor of Florida, they will be heard of on the national scene.

2) New Jersey- If Jack Ciattarelli pulls this off it is a serious upset. Even if he doesn’t, with pundits like me writing him off as a palooka, he will have made his point and can leverage that into a future victory. His whole Jersey Boy message and strategy, painting Murphy as a Massachusetts carpetbagger, worked with the orange and bechained denizens of the Garden State. If Republicans can take both Virginia and New Jersey, then the John Foster Dulles dream of Communist rollback, in the domestic sense, may begin to become a reality. What next? Republican Colorado, Arizona, or, dare we say it, California?

3) Down ballot- From school boards to county row offices Democrats got their insurrection, at the ballot box. For some insane reason, as the negative effect was obvious, Democrats  stuck to PC absurdity all over America and got their clocks cleaned for their trouble. Case in point,  Minneapolis. PC Minneapolis killed a proposal to replace the police department with a Bolshevik welcome wagon for criminals. Weeks prior Democrat numbers starting going south all over. National Democrats tried to warn state Democrats to run to the middle. But the Terry McAuliffes and Phil Murphys ignored the counsel. They instead took endorsements from the likes of Bernie Sanders and The Squad, which brought them to today. Bloody fools.

4) Results- This is a harbinger of doom for Democrats. Like lemmings they jumped merrily off a political cliff to promote authoritarian socialism only to find that American freedom still has some kick in it. Republicans can taste victory going into next November. If they nationalize the races, but fan the local fires of Independent and even Democrat miscontent, there’s no telling how much they can win in 2022. Not only Republican congressional control beckons, but more gubernatorial wins too. Damn the torpedoes and full steam ahead.
