President Donald Trump celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday yesterday by issuing a statement in which he hinted at another potential presidential run in 2024.

“A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together,” Trump said. “America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction. Too many generations of greatness are counting on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!”

Trump later issued a second Thanksgiving message in which he slammed the current inflation crisis that is happening on President Joe Biden’s watch.

“We have a lot to be thankful for, but unfortunately, RECORD HIGH INFLATION is not one of those things,” Trump said, according to The New York Post. “Biden took the beautiful, strong economy I built and lit it up in flames. The price of your Thanksgiving meal has gone up 14%. Despicable.”

“It saddens me to think that YOU are paying the price for Joe Biden’s terrible leadership,” he added.

Democrats are reportedly already in panic mode over Trump potentially running again.

“There’s not a strategist or insider that I’m hanging out with who would like to see Donald Trump running again,” Democrat pollster Rachel Bitecofer told The Hill. “Nobody should think he would be a weak nominee.”

“He almost re-won the White House in 2020 even after four years of scandal after scandal, and then the pandemic and the mismanagement of that,” she added. “That never affected him. And he almost won and his party picked up seats in the House.”

Another Democrat expert agreed that the left should never “underestimate” Trump’s ability to fire up his base.

“Democrats would be foolish to think he would be easy to take down,” said Mike Morey, a former aide to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

When asked last month if he was planning to run again, Trump hinted that he was indeed planning to do so.

“Well, I guess a bad call from a doctor or something, right?” Trump said in response. “I will say, that happens with people. So things happen, through God, they happen. But you know, I feel so good, and I hate what’s happening to our country.”

Biden has yet to confirm whether or not he’ll run in 2024, and some Democrats are starting to fear that he wouldn’t stand a chance against Trump, given his frequent missteps and plummeting approval ratings.

“He’s looked weak, he’s looked defensive,” one Democrat fundraiser said. “It’s right where Trump wants him.”

It will certainly be interesting to see how this all plays out.
