PHOENIX, AZ – During a November 22nd media briefing, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich shot back at a local reporter who’d inquired about AG Brnovich’s jab status, asking the reporter if they’ve ever had an STD.
AG Brnovich, having the backing of unions representing Phoenix firefighters and police officers, has filed suit against the Biden administration regarding the effort to force the COVID shot on employees of private companies and federal agencies.
During the closing of the media briefing where the matter was addressed, news outlet Arizona’s Family’s Political Editor Dennis Welch asked AG Brnovich whether or not he’d gotten the jab himself. The response Welch got was not only quippy – but well-reasoned.
“This is a thing, Dennis. I will tell everyone here, I believe very strongly in the privacy of our medical and health information. And so my health information is my own information. Dennis, have you had an STD? No, I mean, no, seriously, if we’re gonna start talking about people’s personal health information.”
Some journalists from the crowd were clearly incensed by AG Brnovich’s retort to the personal question he was asked by the Arizona’s Family reporter – interrupting the AG’s response – but he continued, going further into his rationale, explaining how a judge examined decades ago on how far the government should get involved in people’s personal health decisions.
“There was an outbreak. And if you accept the notion that the federal government for public health reasons can mandate you to do something or not do something, then does that mean if there was an STD outbreak or health outbreaks in the 70s and 80s – could they tell you that if you’re a government contractor or an employee that has a contract with government, that you can’t engage in intercourse with other human beings?
I mean, that literally is a question the federal judge asked. So, it’s not a ridiculous question. The question should be, once you allow receive this authority to the federal government, where does it stop? And my health information is my own health information, Dennis.”

thank you sir for giving me an answer to those who ask me about my status. I will ask them about their STD status.
Thank you Mr. Brnovich! That has to be the most succinct definition of HIPPAA (Health Information Privacy and Portability Accountability Act) I have ever read! Uncaring that his mandates violate about twelve Federal laws, as well as several International treaties, specifically enacted so this situation could not happen, Biden is illegally trying to force “his subjects” into an unbearable dilemma! Violate their beliefs or be demonized by the rabid Leftist control freaks in “government”, and their adherents!
Heart-warming to hear of an AG who still thinks and is prepared to defend his beliefs in the face of an increasingly insane and hostile “Media”.
Brnovich hit the nail squarely. It’s another “For thee but not for me” dictum that the leftist media is tossing freely across the widest audiences, hoping for an encounter that might spawn some newsworthy clip. The media has, literally, outclassed themselves.
Sorry, you dip white reporter as Arizona AG pointed out, my health information is private! Have you ever answered the question, have you been jabbed? Or for that matter ever had an STD? I guess your health info is private, huh?
He is100% correct because if the government starts being able to control your personal health then you can bet you are in serious trouble.
Good for him and I’m not surprised, given his track record over his terms as AG.
The news corps used to be our watchdog against government abuse. The current group are the liberal attack dogs snarling at every conservative republican idea and pushing every stupid, backward, and treasonous idea put forth by the liberal dummies. What went wrong?
The AZ AG is right. The reporter needs to answer the question about his own medical history before he can inquire about outer peoples.
I think that was an excellent reply to the reporter’s question. I should be no one’s business but suddenly, it is ok to ask people about what should be their personal decision. I think in the coming years we will learn what was really in this Covid vaccine and why the worldwide governments were pushing this.
Greed and lack of integrity by leaders will be the reason this was allowed to expand and grow.
Arizona AG 😎🤜🎤⬇️❗
Go Mark, we need more like him. He is absolutely correct. These mandates are a very slippery slope, and exactly what the left wants. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. Just look at any program they have enacted. It starts out and promised to be “for the good of all” and turns out to be bad for everyone. That is because nothing they do is for any good to anyone but themselves and their quest for power and control. They must be stopped and we start with refusing to abide by these mandates, Next its guns, free speech is already under attack, and they have plenty of “mandates” stacked up ready to go if we let them.
