Derrick Van Orden, Republican candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s 3rd District, raised more than $1 million in Q3 of 2021, a figure showing the force and confidence behind his campaign to end one-party rule in Washington and bring real leadership back to the 3rd District. He’s also been named to the NRCC’s Young Guns program. That will give him added resources and options come next November.

This announcement comes after the Van Orden campaign raising $753,996 in Q2, the most of any Republican challenger in the country. Read that again, in the country. This guy’s campaign is a juggernaut.

Van Orden commented on the impressive fundraising haul. “Ending Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s radical one-party rule in Washington starts here in Wisconsin’s 3rd District. Everyday, I meet with Wisconsinites who are tired of Washington politicians putting themselves above the people they represent. I can’t thank the people of the 3rd District enough for putting their faith in me to represent them and continue to drive this movement forward.” The candidate is also aggressive on other issues.

Van Orden on the economy: “After continued disappointment, it’s clear that Biden and Pelosi’s economy is hurting working Americans. I hear from small business owners often about the disastrous impact that paying people not to work has had on their ability to hire and continue business, policies supported by Wisconsin and Washington Democrats. In Biden and Pelosi’s America, families are having trouble buying gas and food on the same day.”

On the border: “Each and every one of the members of our armed forces are in my prayers as they embark on their mission to help secure our border. President Biden with a stroke of a pen created this mess, and now the largest deployment of Wisconsin National Guard forces since 2012 is going to fix it. We need to end this one party rule in Washington because President Biden and Vice President Harris have failed to fix the crisis they created, and are being enabled by the Democrat controlled Congress. This insanity needs to end.” This is a congressional campaign with a mission. As a former Navy SEAL Van Orden is used to that. That should make him a hard hombre to stop come next November.
