Tulsi Gabbard is one of the most interesting people in American politics. She’s a combat vet, articulate, attractive, and almost singlehandedly, with one exchange, stopped the Harris 2020 presidential campaign dead in the water.

Gabbard is a registered Democrat, but hits the Democrats at every opportunity. That’s why she has been on the hit list of Hillary Clinton (who called her a Russian agent), Nancy Pelosi, and Kamala Harris. However, Gabbard moves on and lets the chips fly.

Currently she has called DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and, by implication, Veep Harris, and Biden “bald-faced liars” on the border issue. Gabbard has said point blank we have an open border and she is not happy about it. If only a majority of Democrats had the sense and patriotism she does.

 

FNC: “Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard slammed President Biden’s immigration policies on Saturday during “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” which she said had serious humanitarian and national security consequences. Under the Biden administration, encounters between Border Patrol and illegal immigrants have skyrocketed. In August, there were over 200,000 encounters, up more than 300 percent from the same month in 2020.”

“The Biden-Harris administration has an open-door policy at the borders,” the Hawaii Democrat said. “The reality is that people are being let in and crossing the border every single day. Actions speak louder and louder than words. [I]t doesn’t matter how many times Secretary [Antony] Blinken or Kamala Harris or anyone from the administration says, you know, don’t come across the border.”

“These drug cartels, these human traffickers, they are incredibly emboldened to the point where they feel that they can do this without consequence, where they feel they can continue profiting off of trafficking people across these borders that are essentially open … The fact is that the open-door policy that this administration has in place is posing a humanitarian crisis is creating a humanitarian crisis, as well as a very serious security threat for our country,” the former congresswoman said.

Gabbard continued. “The Department of Homeland Security secretary recently told Congress: ‘Our borders are secure.’ This is what he said. The faith and trust that the American people need to have in our leaders is dropping every day…the arrogance and the self-serving nature of leaders who are in power in this country and the disrespect that they have for the American people and it’s why people are losing faith and trust in those leaders.”

“And that’s the problem here is we don’t have leaders who … put themselves ahead of the interests of the people,” Gabbard concluded. Does that sound a Democrat? If the Democrat Party ever regains its sanity and affection for America Tulsi Gabbard will rise high. If not, GOP leaders should build her a golden bridge to cross over.
