WASHINGTON STATE – The Washington State Department of Transportation is one of the many agencies who will be missing many employees come Monday morning, thanks to Governor Jay Inslee’s vaccine mandate.
One WSDOT crew had a message for Inslee on their electronic variable message signs.
Across two signs, the crew displayed: “PISS OFF INSLEE AND GET FIRED.”
Normally, we would expect some kind of repercussions for an act like this, but this time, the workers are on their way out anyway so they’ve got nothing to lose.
It remains to be seen whether Inslee will stick with his mandates, which are set to see hundreds, if not thousands, of workers in many different professions out of work on October 18, which was his deadline imposed.
