The Republican National Committee is doing their job by producing this ad, but in a rather elongated way. As a writer and director of numerous campaign spots, this 7 minute video seems way too long. Modern attention spans, ever for true believers, are those of slow-witted marsupials. Will the target audience sit through 7 minutes on one topic? Hmm. But the RNC message is spot on.

Democrats are trying to run away from Defund The Police before next year’s midterm elections. But if we hold their tiny little feet to the fire, especially given urban crime stats, we can add to their misery. Always great fun.

FNC: “A new video dropped by the Republican National Committee (RNC) highlights Democrat officials’ support for defunding the police as the Democratic Party tries to back away from the idea.

The RNC took aim at prominent Democrat lawmakers ranging from ‘Squad’ leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., publishing 7 straight minutes of Democrats echoing talking points of the “defund the police” movement.

The new video, entitled ‘7 Minutes of Democrats Saying Defund The Police,’ comes as the Democrats desperately try to move away from the rhetoric as crime spikes around the country.

The party’s attempts to distance themselves from the defund the police movement, however, were put in further jeopardy after the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) hired new top employees with a history of pushing defund the police rhetoric. Democrats were ridiculed from both sides in July after accusing Republicans of being the party that’s actually in favor of defunding the police.”

“Suck it up. Defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police,” Rep. Cori Bush, D-MO, said in a video obtained by FNC. Nice work kids and kudos on 25 years.

“You don’t have one bad apple. You don’t have four bad apples. You have a system-wide problem in that police department,” sad, pathetic, and losing Senate and presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, D-TX, says in the video. “And only by completely dismantling that system and rebuilding it intentionally with the community members at the table do you have any hope of getting it right,” he continues. And, that’s why he lost.
