It’s hard not to like the very attractive Senator Kyrsten Sinema, Democrat of Arizona. Her charming demeanor, her lovely look, her captivating style, all combine for a winning image. Her moderate politics, she pays heed to her conservative constituents, makes her all that more winsome. Sinema’s little curtsey when voting against a Democrat budget bill months ago was feminine, sarcastic, and altogether classic.
For all these things she is hated by the emetic harpies who run the hard left of the Democrat Party. She, and her partner in senatorial moderation Joe Manchin, are special targets of the Left. They heckled Manchin while the senator was on his houseboat and they followed Sinema into a bathroom to harass her. This abuse has happened recently over the Biden reconciliation bill and infrastructure bill.
Now one of the press purse dogs that Biden carries close is yapping an almost maternal bark, asking Sinema to vote with other Democrats because out of it Joe really needs a win”. Is that all they’ve got? He needs a win?

FNC: “New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd chided Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., for her opposition to President Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending plan, asking in a new opinion piece why the moderate Democrat would obstruct Biden’s plans when he ‘really needs a win.’ ”

Dowd: “The Arizona senator’s name is pronounced ‘cinema,’ and it is apt because she sweeps — and sometimes, when the triathlete has a sports injury, limps — through the Senate like a silent film star,” Dowd wrote. “The Greta Garbo of Congress,’ as one top Democrat called her,” she continued. “Is she unmoored in her politics, simply being opportunistic? What is the principle that is leading her to obstruct the party of her own president, who really needs a win right now?” Dowd sadly insisted.
Wow. Toe the line or walk the plank. Such little robots these Leftists are. No unthoughts are tolerated. The party line uber alles. And then the pathetic plea. Yikes. Somebody’s party is sinking and mutinous.
Governor Ron DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw commented. “I remember when people who put ‘country over party’ were praised as heroes by the New York Times. McCain, Cheney, Kinzinger? Oh wait, that only applies to Republicans! It’s not hypocrisy. It’s hierarchy.”
Even Bill Maher defended Sinema. “Here’s my question: Does spending more money make you a better person? Or a bigger moderate? And maybe these two, Sinema and Manchin … might have their thumb more on the pulse on the average Democrat in the country.”
Sinema had the last word. “Good-faith negotiations, however, require trust. Over the course of this year, Democratic leaders have made conflicting promises that could not all be kept – and have, at times, pretended that differences of opinion within our party did not exist, even when those disagreements were repeatedly made clear directly and publicly.”
