The former Sacramento Kings broadcaster Grant Napear apparently has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the radio station that fired him last year, KHTK. According to Napear, the radio station decided to terminate him after he tweeted that “All Lives Matter”. While Napear’s comments are correct, cancel culture and the mob of woke activists they run with believe the opposite, which lead to some calling him a racist for tweeting such a thing.
Napear was originally released by the station in November of 2020. Although the termination was several months after he tweeted, “all lives matter, every single one”, Napear explained at the time he had no idea the left believed the term was affiliated with racism. While the radio station fired Napear, he would resign from his job being the play-by-play announcer for the Kings
The broadcaster would ultimately say, “I was wronged. I don’t feel like I did anything wrong. I made the comment on May 31 and less than 48 hours later, my career as I knew it, didn’t exist anymore.”
KHTK released a statement, saying, “While we appreciate Grant’s positive contributions to KHTK over the years, his recent comments about the Black Lives Matter movement do not reflect the views or values of Bonneville International Corporation.”
The lawsuit against the station is “ asking for damages, including lost and future wages and emotional distress,” according to a Fox report.
As for Napear, although he had no idea how the left would have reacted, he stands by what he said. “And I said ‘all lives matter, every single one’, because I meant it. Do the lives of Black people matter? Hell yeah, the lives of Black people matter.” Napear added, “I’m for equality for all, that’s how I was raised. That’s how my dad brought up my brother and I.”

This article states the radio station fired him for commenting about the “blm movement”. Where in his comment “All lives matter, every one” mention anything negative regarding blm, or could be considered racist? Hope he has a great lawyer that helps him take the radio station to the cleaners.
STAY WELL, SAFE, FREE & BRAVE
all lives matter, every single one
Hope he takes them for a bundle. About time we recognized some basic truths and not only the racist anti white ones.
All lives do matter! How dare you fire someone for saying that. I don’t know Mr. Napear, but I admire him for standing up for what is right. I don’t care what color you are your life matters. It matters to those who love you and care for you. It matters to me, and I don’t even know you! The BLM movement is shady, dealing in half truths or none at all and should be banned. They have solicited money for their cause and used it for themselves not to better the lives of their followers! How much worse can you bet than that!
ALL LIVES DO MATTER! Black, white, brown, yellow, red or blue AND the unborn! Anything less is racist crap!
