My kids turned me on to Dave Chappelle years ago. Aside from Bill Burr, I’ve never laughed so hard at the performances of a modern comedian. Chappelle is brilliant and his various sketches, especially the blind Klan member, are past the point of hilarious and into the realm of comic genius.
He says what he wants to get laughs, unencumbered by PC. Recently he held a free speech tour de force at the Hollywood Bowl that had 18,000 fans on their feet in homage and appreciation. Naturally the Left can’t have a thought criminal like Chappelle getting that kind of response.
So they decided a small time Marxist, with a race hustler show, who pretends to be a woman should try to play the victim card. His shtick is so unintentionally funny it reads like a Chappelle script. But the poor confused lad is serious. Which, actually, makes it even funnier.
Uncontroversial opinion, but Dave Chappelle is a genius. Just watched The Closer. Unbelievably funny, surprisingly moving and displays more courage and decency than all his critics combined.

FNC: “Jaclyn Moore, a writer and co-showrunner on Netflix’s ‘Dear White People,’ says she’s parting ways with the streaming service over alleged transphobic jokes Dave Chappelle made in his latest comedy special.”
“After the Chappelle special, I can’t do this anymore. I won’t work for @netflix again as long as they keep promoting and profiting from dangerous transphobic content,” he wrote on Instagram. He later tweeted, “I love so many of the people I’ve worked with at Netflix. Brilliant people and executives who have been collaborative and fought for important art….But I’ve been thrown against walls because, “I’m not a ‘real’ woman.” I’ve had beer bottles thrown at me. So, @netflix, I’m done.” And again…”I have had beer bottles thrown at me. I have been thrown against a wall for using a women’s bathroom. I would just say it’s ironic that for somebody who famously walked away from a TV show because he felt like the messages of the joke got lost, he doesn’t see what the messages of these jokes do to people,” he robotically intoned. “He talks about our feelings being hurt. My feelings are fine, but being thrown against a wall hurts or worrying at night if I can get home safe. That stuff is not theoretical.” But he is.
Notice a trend? It’s a script, a tired repetition of canned lines he thinks will get him pity. It’s a Josie Smollet shtick that nobody with a brain would buy. As for Chappelle? “If this is what being canceled is about, I love it,” the comedian said to raucous applause from fans in attendance at his Hollywood Bowl triumph. Score one for Dave Chappelle.

If a so-called man is too dam*ed stupid to think that he’s really a woman then I for one don’t give a fart in a windstorm about anything he says or thinks. Apparently Dave Chappelle feels the same way.
Poor little snowflake .
Hurrah for Dave Chappelle!!! We all make our own choices (or at least we used to) on how we live our lives, Jaclyn Moore, and we all face consequences for those choices. I have many, many transgender and gay friends (I am bisexual as well) and we are all from the generation when it was a heck of a lot harder to be different, so lady, get over yourself….
