With COVID-19 cases continuing to surge in certain places around the U.S, President Joe Biden has urged all Americans to get vaccinated. Democrats even pleaded with businesses and sports venues to start turning away people who refuse to get the vaccine. While numerous businesses have implemented a vaccine-only policy, when it comes to the NFL, only four teams, the Raiders, Seahawks, Saints, and Bills require any person in attendance to show proof of vaccination before attending any home game. But while they try to push the vaccine, NFL star Cole Beasley spoke out on the matter and presented a generous offer to those unvaccinated fans.

After the Buffalo Bills released a statement mandating proof of the vaccine, wide receiver Beasley and long snapper Reid Ferguson decided to make a statement of their own, and it’s in direct conflict with the Bill’s statement. According to both players, they will pay for a couple of lucky fan’s tickets to any away game because they have the right to decide to get the vaccine or not.

Responding to fan Chris Hauquitz, who is still questioning the vaccine, Beasley wrote, “If you find an away game you are able to go to then I will buy the tickets for you guys. DM me names and everything and I’ll figure out the best way to make it happen.”

Talking to reporters, Hauquitz said, “I’ve had Covid, so in my opinion, I’ve already got the antibodies. I think they’re just as good as the vaccine. The vaccine came out pretty rushed. I don’t really know all the information. In my opinion, there’s so little information out there and it all seems to be one-sided. And then, personally, my religious beliefs. I think God created me for a purpose. He has a plan for my life. And whether I have the vaccine or not, I’m taken care of.”

Ferguson was also reached out to by a fan about the new proof of vaccine by the Bills. He responded, “I hear you brother. If you can find your way to an away game this year, tix are on me.”

It should also be noted that in August, players August Beasley and Isaiah McKenzie violated the COVID-19 protocols set by the NFL and were ultimately fined.
