Impotence. That’s the only thing you can call it. That’s what the Biden administration has reduced American to in Afghanistan and around the world.

A year ago, under the Trump administration, the situation was well in hand. Talks were under way and the Taliban knew Donald Trump would brook no foolishness from them as we left the country. But the Taliban bided their time. As soon as they saw last November’s election result they likely put into play a venture they had planned for years. They only needed a confused and weak American president in office to execute the plan. In Joe Biden, they got one. His obvious decrepitude and weakness no doubt expedited their launch date.

Now hundreds, if not thousands, of Americans and allies are left stranded in Afghanistan. The Taliban is going door to door looking for them, probably to mark them as potential hostages should the US displease them. When Americans try to get to the airport and get out of the country they are stopped by Taliban gunfire, as described below. This is what it has come to. For Joe Biden and for America, international impotence.

FNC: “A pregnant woman named Nasria, a California native, flew to Afghanistan in June to visit family and get married. As of early September, she remained one of the estimated 100 to 200 Americans left behind in the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces, according to a report. Now that the U.S. military is gone, the Taliban is ‘hunting Americans,’ she told the Voice of America.”

“I think to myself, ‘Am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up living here? Am I going to end up dying here? What’s going to happen?'” said Nasria, 25, who asked that only her first be used name for security reasons.

“Apparently they’re [the Taliban] going door-to-door … trying to see if anybody has a blue passport. There were a couple of days where we had to sleep on streets. People were literally stepping over people. That’s how bad it was.”

“I’ve never in my life have experienced anything like this. It was like literally a movie scene…Our troops were literally at the gate just waiting for us to continue walking and they had blocked us,” she said.

Trying to get past the airport gate, she tried to walk fast past the Taliban forces, but the Taliban “started shooting right by my leg…I was only 15 steps away from the airport and I was told people are going to come out of the airport to get me, so what hope am I supposed to have now?” Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Americans like her are left under the complete control of the Taliban, those who harbored the murderers of 9-11.
