Even with the smear campaign from the Democrats and the numerous failed lawsuits, it appears that former President Donald Trump isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. With the failed presidency that is Joe Biden, many voters around the country are eagerly awaiting Trump to announce his run for President once again in 2024. While there are some that might not think he will win or have the same momentum as last time, they might want to keep on reading as Trump’s campaign hauled in a massive $102 million for the upcoming 2022 midterm election. And remember, Trump has yet to announce if he will run again in 2024. If he does, his campaign war chest is only sure to grow.

According to federal filings, Trump was able to accumulate a staggering $82 million during the first half of 2021. That doesn’t include the almost $30 million he had set aside. And if you were wondering what the Democrats were able to do in the first six months, it should be noted that no other political figure, Democrat or Republican, came close to the $102 million Trump has at his disposal. Not to mention, Trump did this while being completely blacklisted from social media and major news outlets.

The Financial Times first reported the campaign funds, breaking it down for voters. “Trump-affiliated groups have raised a total of more than $56m on the online Republican fundraising platform WinRed, leapfrogging the Republican National Committee ($19m) and the Republican Senate and House party committees combined ($23m raised by the National Republican Senatorial Committee and $26m raised by the National Republican Congressional Committee).”

As for what the future holds for Trump, former White House Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, apparently revealed the former President held meetings about 2024 with key cabinet members. “We met with several of our cabinet members tonight. We actually had a follow-up member — meeting with some of our cabinet members, and as we were looking at that. We were looking at what does come next. I’m not authorized to speak on behalf of the president, but I can tell you this, Steve: We wouldn’t be meeting tonight if we weren’t making plans to move forward in a real way, with President Trump at the head of that ticket.”
