The CDC adjusted its coronavirus count for the state of Florida after the Health Department in Tallahassee said the original figures were inaccurately inflated. The confusion came as the Biden administration and his PR arm – the mainstream media – attack Florida over mask mandates and other COVID related issues.

The state’s Department of Health accused the CDC of combining many days of new cases together erroneously when the CDC released record high coronavirus numbers for Florida this past Sunday, claiming the genuine number should have been 15,319 instead of the 28,317 that the CDC stated.

The CDC revised its figure to 19,584 on Tuesday, saying it was in talks with Florida officials to ensure any discrepancies were remedied.

The back and forth over figures comes as the Biden administration sides with the Broward Country Superintendent and School Board who claims they will defy Governor DeSantis’ executive order which gives parents the right determine whether or not their children wear masks in schools.

Under the new order, those who defy the policy will be fined and salaries of superintendents and school board members may be withheld. Biden, however, said he would consider providing financial assistance to anyone that goes against DeSantis, if he is unable to find legal ways to override the executive order.
