First Lady Jill Biden is set to appear on the cover of Vogue Magazine for the August issue, and she told the publication that Americans can “breathe again” now that former President Donald Trump is out of office. She also outrageously claimed that her husband, President Joe Biden, has “healed the nation.”

“During the campaign, I felt so much anxiety from people — they were scared,” Jill told Vogue. “When I travel around the country now, I feel as though people can breathe again. I think that’s part of the reason Joe was elected.”

Jill went on to say that “people wanted someone to come in and heal this nation,” adding that her husband has accomplished that by “getting shots in everybody’s arms.”

Jill is conveniently ignoring the fact that crime has spiked all over America and we’re dealing with a border crisis that is escalating on her husband’s watch. Despite this, Jill thinks we’re lucky to have her husband in office because he is more laid back temperamentally.

“But also… he’s just a calmer president,” she said. “He lowers the temperature.”

Jill went on to whine about how annoyed she is that “people pay attention to every little detail” when it comes to what she wears, referring to an April controversy in which she appeared to be wearing fishnet stockings while departing from Air Force One.

“It’s kind of surprising, I think, how much commentary is made about what I wear or if I put my hair in a scrunchie,” she said. “Or the stocking thing… Fishnetgate? — it’s amazing how much people pay attention to every little detail.”

“And they weren’t fishnets,” Jill insisted. “They weren’t lace. They were very pretty stockings.”

Call them whatever you want to call them, Jill, but they looked like fishnets, and pretty would not be a word most would use to describe them.

Jill is gracing the cover of Vogue within months of becoming First Lady while her predecessor Melania Trump was not given a single cover of any magazine during her time in the White House. Despite having years of modeling experience, Melania was snubbed by every magazine out there.
