According to sources, President Biden is set to announce on Thursday that federal government employees and contractors must acquire the COVID-19 vaccine or face frequent testing for the virus.

During a speech on Thursday, Biden will discuss the new protocols for federal workers, as well as efforts to get more Americans vaccinated, as cases across the country are on the rise.

The president acknowledged on Tuesday that his administration is considering making the coronavirus vaccine obligatory for federal employees.

He said made reference to the possible move, while also insulting a great number of American Tuesday by saying, “That is under consideration right now, but if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were.”

Even with the new policy in place, federal workers are expected to be mandated to wear facial coverings inside, bringing about the question again…What is the point of the vaccine?

This comes as the CDC has offered similar guidance to all vaccinated Americans, while stating all children in grades K-12 should wear masks to school this fall, as well as teachers and staff, regardless of vaccination status.

We will provide additional information on Biden’s announcement after it is made.
