Since de-platforming former President Donald Trump, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter have become gatekeepers for the Democrats. Every time any sort of truth comes to light about the 2020 election or COVID-19, social media is quick to remove the post and claim that it is spreading fake news and facts, especially if it surrounds anything Trump. Most recently, Twitter was caught censoring the account of the National File. Although a popular site, the account was locked due to them reporting a story involving a 13-year old who died days after receiving his second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Tami Burages’s family has been torn apart after taking the advice of leading experts that claimed the vaccine was completely safe. Doesn’t matter if the vaccine was rushed into production and many trials were overlooked, all that matters was getting shots in arms. But as mentioned above, Burages’s nephew wasn’t so lucky when he mysteriously died just three days after getting the second vaccine.

Wanting to spread awareness of the potential dangers of the vaccine, Burages tweeted, “Our family is devastated. I struggled with putting this out on Twitter. I am pro-vaccine. We vaccinated my own 14-year-old son as soon as it was available. I know it is *mostly safe*. But Jacob is dead now.”

Burages didn’t stop there as she tried to rationalize what had happened, hoping to save other children from making the same mistake. “I do believe that the vaccine is saving millions of lives. But should any innocent child be a sacrificial lamb in this endeavor? There are moral, ethical and health questions that need to be answered. If Jacob had not received the 2nd shot, we believe he would be alive today.”

While Burages called for the CDC to investigate the matter, the National File sought to spread the story and potential side effects from the vaccine. That is when Twitter stepped in and restricted the account. But Although Twitter has been known to do the Democrat’s bidding, the social platform claims the account was restricted by accident.

Still, Tom Pappert, editor-in-chief of the National File, wasn’t buying Twitter’s excuse, even tweeting, “Twitter’s censorship here is as repugnant as it is ridiculous,” said Pappert. “National File does not publish medical misinformation. We published a report containing direct quotes from a woman who – using Twitter – expressed concern about the death of her 13-year-old nephew, Jacob Clynick, which occurred after he received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. It appears Twitter is attempting to censor news outlets for the crime of reporting on the concerns of a recently bereaved family member.”
