When it comes to facts and numbers, there is little room for debate, unless you are a Democratic, and then – there is always room and time for argument. That is exactly the mindset President Joe Biden had when the April job report was made available. Although Wall Street and the Democrats promised a booming economy, like the one Trump helped build, the new report shows little growth in the economy that has been crippled by the COVID-19 pandemic. But don’t worry, Biden is here to tell you why it is a good thing.

Even though he isn’t one for the press, not even the President of the United States could dodge the report that showed only 266,000 new jobs were created and that unemployment saw a rise. But again, this is all part of a larger, Biden Administration plan.

Speaking from the White House, Biden used the first couple of minutes giving all the reasons the low job numbers aren’t his fault. He said he took office during a “once-in-a-century pandemic and a once-in-a-generation economic crisis”, and “We knew this wouldn’t be a sprint—it would be a marathon.”

President Biden didn’t mention how former President Trump warned him this would happen if they continued with useless lockdowns across America. Biden just continued to praise his administration and didn’t dare touch on how unemployment saw an unexpected rise to 6.1%. Instead, Biden said, “You might think we should be disappointed, but the American Rescue Plan was designed to help us over the course of a year—not 60 days.”

Staying positive, Biden went on to clarify that there is still a long way to go before the economy is back to full strength. He also boasted how his administration has created over 1 million jobs, but those numbers have yet to be verified given that unemployment is still on the rise.

While Biden did everything to hide his weakness as a President, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used the employment numbers to parade the “urgent need to pass President Biden’s American Jobs and Families Plans.” She continued, “We need to take bold action to Build Back Better from this crisis by investing in our nation, our workers and our families.”

So, remember – there is not a crisis at the border, rising unemployment is a good thing, and the best option for America right now is a feeble old man who can barely make it up the steps of Air Force One.
