Black Lives Matter, the domestic terrorist organization, commits terrorism at home and applauds it overseas. Specifically they support Hamas, an avowed American enemy backed by Iran, another foe of the United States.

The domestic political repercussions are interesting. The early civil rights movement of the 50s and 60s had Jewish participation and leadership. Jews, who had been victims of bigotry themselves, identified with the legitimate aspirations of Dr. King and other black leaders to be treated as equal American citizens.

But soon after that initial phase of the civil rights movement black leadership turned hard to port. American Jews, being also generally Democrat voters, were not perplexed. But then starting in the 1980s with the rise of Louis Farrakhan and the “Hymietown” remark of Jesse Jackson, the black left wing political leadership became openly antisemitic.

Jewish voters felt sold out. Many made excuses to cover up the blatant Jew baiting of Farrakhan and Jackson. But now, not only in radical black leadership but in the entire left wing and in a majority of the Democrat Party, the momentum is antisemitic, anti-Israel, and wishes death and oblivion to the Jewish state.

As opposed to the Trump administration, a very pro-Israel government, the Democrats continue to disparage and attack Israel. In the Second Gaza War just, perhaps, concluded, Democrats regularly took the side of Hamas. Will this wake up Jewish voters? Will they finally understand that their historic political party of identication hates Israel and all she stands for to the Jewish people?

Probably not. Which is a shame and a willful ignorance of reality. Maybe if Israel were sufficiently damaged by her enemies, her back up against the wall, would these modern kapos achieve a degree of realistic understanding. Until then, American Jewish voters and Black Lives Matter thugs stand in absurd alliance.

FNC: “The leading Black Lives Matter organization declared ‘solidarity with Palestinians’ this week, a week after Hamas terrorists in Gaza began firing a relentless barrage of rockets into Israel, indiscriminately shelling civilian targets as well as dropping some missiles short and blowing up buildings within its territory before a cease fire was declared Thursday. Left-wing groups, and progressive lawmakers, have blamed Israel for the violence, describing it as an ‘apartheid state’ committing ‘war crimes’ and other atrocities on Palestinian civilians, who Hamas frequently treats like human shields, attracting airstrikes on high-rise buildings that share space with civilians.”

Israel responded, “The Israeli Defense Forces warn civilians ahead of strikes on such locations, giving them time to run for safety before leveling Hamas facilities.”

But that meant nothing to the racists of BLM, “Black Lives Matter stands in solidarity with Palestinians,” the group tweeted. “We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. ( always have. And always will be ). #freepalestine.”

The Israelis had the last and definitive word.  “Israel fights to protect its civilians,” the IDF tweeted Tuesday. “Hamas uses civilians to protect itself.”
