Biden Administration Cancels Memorial Day Veteran’s Parade Due To COVID?

While President Biden might be praised among the Democrats and liberals for the little he has done in the White House, he has recently come under fire for warning Americans about July 4th gatherings and being vaccinated. President Biden believes he has the power to cancel America’s Independence Day celebration if people don’t get vaccinated. And to prove how serious he is, the Biden Administration recently revoked the permit for a Memorial Day parade celebrating our military and vets.

The event, which has been celebrated for the past 30 years draws in thousands of people and patriots alike. The tradition called Rolling to Remember is a massive motorcycle parade that takes place on Memorial Day in Washington D.C. Taking place each year, the gathering happens outside of the Pentagon located in the parking lot. And up until a couple of weeks ago the permit for the parade was approved. Then mysteriously – it was rescinded by the Biden Administration. And the reason – COVID-19.

While Biden is hiding behind COVID-19, a Florida lawmaker, Brian Mast, is making sure people hear and are aware of what the Democrats are trying to do. In a statement, Mast says, “Memorial Day traditions like Rolling to Remember have been granted permits by every administration, Democrat and Republican, for the past 30 years. The Biden Administration’s decision to end this Memorial Day tradition flies in the face of the freedoms that so many have died to protect.”

Mast, who is not only a 12-year veteran but also lost both his legs in Afghanistan, was sure to add his love for this great country. “We are blessed beyond words to be citizens of the greatest country on Earth and only live free thanks to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. But sadly right now, in Joe Biden’s America, it is easier to cross the border illegally than it is to get a permit to pay our respects to our nation’s fallen heroes.”

AMVETS’ national executive director Joe Chennelly, who puts on the parade, also expressed his disappointment with the cancellation but reassured patriots that the battle is not over. He said, “What, traditionally, this event has been all about is our missing in action. We have more than 80,000 Americans who are still missing in action since World War II. We are committed to still having a central staging area. … We have a Plan B and a Plan C.”
