Reports Show China Detaining and Torturing Christians For Not Renouncing Their Faith

The Democrats continue to praise President Biden for his so-called leadership skills while completely dismissing the Southern Border Crisis or the several other challenges that are threatening America as we speak. Focusing all their efforts on destroying the legacy of Donald Trump, the Democrats forgot the basics of running the greatest nation in the world. And while Biden continues to hide, one of America’s greatest threats – China, is reportedly not only committing genocide, but they are now targeting Christians in their conquest to spread Communism throughout the world.

When it was first reported that China was committing genocide against Muslims, the Democrats decided to turn a blind eye. Even Biden claimed the situation in China was due to their cultural norms. So, it shouldn’t be all that shocking that Democrats would again turn away when China decided to attack another religious faction that it did not agree with.

For months, Radio Free Asia, a non-profit broadcasting corporation funded through the U.S. Agency for Global Media, reported that the Chinese government has been harassing Christians and even threatening them when they wouldn’t denounce their faith. And sadly, that is just the beginning of what the communist government did to people who dared to believe in a higher power.

One of the survivors, who uses the fake name Li Yuese out of fear for his life gave a glimpse into some of the tactics China uses on “house churches” that don’t follow the strict religious guidelines set by the government.

“They use really underhand[ed] methods. They threaten, insult, and intimidate you. These were United Front officials, men, women, sometimes unidentified, usually in plain clothes. The police turn a blind eye to this. You have to accept the statement they prepare for you. If you refuse, you will be seen as having a bad attitude and they will keep you in detention and keep on beating you.”

According to Li, these house churches aren’t part of the government-approved Three-Self Patriotic Association. The association was put in place to teach CCP-approved Christianity. The reason for so much government interference when it comes to religion is because China views Christianity as a national security threat.

And what exactly happens if you won’t denounce your faith?

Li recalled the torture he was subject to for believing in God. “I couldn’t sleep; after you’ve been in there a week, death starts to look better than staying there. I bashed myself against the wall to self-harm,” he said. “One time in there, I was groggy and was trying to open my eyes but I couldn’t. Four or five of them grabbed me by the arms and legs and pinned me to the ground. They injected me with some drug, and brought me back to consciousness.”

But while Christians and Muslims continue to be subject to torture and ridicule, remember what President Biden said, “Culturally there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow.”
