House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) went on MSNBC on Wednesday to do one of her favorite things, which is bash former President Donald Trump. This time around, she dramatically said that she “will never forgive” Trump and the Capitol rioters for the “trauma” that they caused back in January.

“I will never forgive those people and the president who instigated the insurrection for the trauma they caused to the workers in the Capitol, whether the young people who work in our offices, whether custodial staff who make the Capitol run, whether it was the Capitol Police,” Pelosi said on MSNBC. “They messed up my office, broke mirrors and stole stuff, and the rest, who cares. But I do care that the impact, the negative impact, the fright they instilled in people because they were doing their civic duty in the Congress of the United States.”

“Those people who came desecrated the Capitol,” she added. “They desecrated with violation of what was happening there by trying to steal and destroy those mahogany boxes. They did it by looking for the vice president to scared him to go their way. I am always under threat, so nothing new for me. If they want to defecate into the Capitol of the United States— just horrible, they were so horrible and disrespectful that it wasn’t even sane.”

“I want to talk about the truth and how we go forward again to protect that Capitol, find out the truth for the American people to know, and also to protect our institutions and the respect that they command among the American people,” Pelosi concluded. “This is about patriotism.”

It should be noted that while Pelosi believes Trump “incited violence” with the Capitol riot, she was quick to defend Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) after she told protesters in Minneapolis to get “confrontational” if Derek Chauvin was acquitted in the death of George Floyd.

“Maxine talked about ‘confrontation’ in the manner of the Civil Rights movement,” Pelosi said, according to New York Daily News. “No, I don’t think she should apologize.”

The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze.
