One thing the Markle kerfuffle does, which as an attention trollop Markle just loves, is bring together dumb harpies from both sides of the Atlantic. Piers Morgan is taking heat in the UK, as to slobbering badly educated PC acolytes any criticism of somebody who is not a veritable albino (i.e. Markle) is proof of Bull O’Connor-like racism. And where do we find this pathology most persistent? In the press.

So it wasn’t an epiphany when an unknown news reader took the example of her goddess Markle and ran with it. In a perfect example of idiocy and pathetic notice seeking combined, someone named Ana Navarro, who puts on makeup and spouts broadcast gibberish, is upset with Morgan. But Morgan crushed her in response. So much for airhead newsgirls.

FNC: “Piers Morgan had a fiery response to former CNN colleague Ana Navarro, who rejoiced his exit from ‘Good Morning Britain’ following his criticism of Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Morgan parted ways with ‘GMB’ after he stormed off the set of the morning show amid pushback he received for casting doubt in Markle’s claims against the royal family. Last week, Morgan drew more than 40,000 complaints after saying he didn’t ‘believe a word’ of Meghan’s claims of racism and bullying within the royal family. Last Tuesday, Navarro shared what she thought was the ultimate silver lining from the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.”

“If no other change comes out of the #OprahMeghanHarry interview, that it lead to @piersmorgan getting fired again from yet another job, seems like a good outcome for the benefit of humanity,” Navarro wrote.

However, Morgan was waiting for her and let her have it with both barrels. “Hi Ana, I wasn’t fired by ITV (I’m still working for them) just as I wasn’t fired by CNN (I was offered a new 2-year deal – ask Jeff),” Morgan said, referencing CNN President Jeff Zucker. “But great to see you’re just as big a treacherous little back-stabber now as you were when I worked at CNN.” Whoa. That is an epic takedown. She’s wrong on facts and exposed as a vicious mean girl. Morgan basically said, “Ana, stop trying to make *firing* happen. It’s not going to happen!”

When further pressed on the subject, Morgan gloriously stuck to his guns. “On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more times with my opinions,” Morgan tweeted. Now that’s giving them a bit of stick. Well played, Piers Morgan.
