So what you don’t say will get you fired in DC? Joe Biden better start cleaning out his desk.

FNC: “Cancel culture just hit a professor for ‘failing to correct’ a colleague. A Georgetown law professor has resigned following his participation in a Zoom call with a colleague whose comments about her black students having a lower academic performance every semester led to her being fired. On Saturday, a Georgetown spokesperson confirmed to WTOP that Georgetown law professor David Batson had submitted his resignation letter and that Georgetown Law Dean Bill Treanor had accepted. The footage at the center of the controversy – which has gone viral on Twitter with more than 1 million views – shows professor Sandra Sellers speaking to Batson over Zoom about students’ academic performance.”

How dumb do you have to be to say this kind of thing while being recorded? In today’s PC environment even a hint of banned speech, regardless if the facts and numbers bear you out, is enough to get you fired and then some. But now in the bastions of establishment Orwellian leftism, saying something abhorrent isn’t the only standard for banishment. Merely hearing banned speech can get you sacked.

Of course, no word on the likely countless students at Georgetown Law who have heard vicious and racist insults against whites, men, Israel, conservatives, Republicans, etc. You see, that is bigoted and racist speech the left agrees with and encourages. So no problem there at all.

Given the product of lawyer emanating these days from Georgetown Law, the bitter avaricious government attorney type, Law Boy has a very good point.

In the video Sellers says, “You know what? I hate to say this, I end up having this angst every semester that a lot of my lower ones are blacks. Happens almost every semester and it’s like ‘oh come on.'” Ouch.

She goes on: “I get some really good ones but there are also usually some that are just plain at the bottom, it drives me crazy… so I feel bad.” No points for her hurt feelings.

Georgetown Law Ubergrupenfuhrer Treanor announced Sellers’ firing Thursday afternoon and said Batson, her silent partner, had been placed on administrative leave pending the results of an investigation by the ReichOffice of Diversity, Equity and Affirmative Action. As noted above, Batson has since resigned.

“As I wrote to you last night, I am appalled that two members of our faculty engaged in a conversation that included reprehensible statements concerning the evaluation of Black students,” Treanor said in a statement. “I have further reviewed the incident and have now spoken to Professor Sellers and Professor Batson, giving each the opportunity to provide any additional context.”

Treanor said during his talk with Sellers, he told her he was “terminating her relationship with Georgetown Law effective immediately.” Afterwards, he commented he was planning to invade Russia in June.

Sellers responded, “While the video of this incident is an excerpt from a longer discussion about class participation patterns, not overall grades, it doesn’t diminish the insensitivity of I have demonstrated. I would never do anything to intentionally hurt my students or Georgetown Law and wish I could take back my words.” Hold on. That wasn’t the whole video? Her words may have been taken out of context? No, really? By leftists? Will wonders ever cease?
