On Monday, Hillary Clinton joined the chorus of Democrats supporting an investigation into the sexual harassment accusations that have been made by multiple women at Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
The former Secretary of State appeared satisfied the investigation was happening despite the “difficult to read” charges.

Clinton: Glad ‘There Will Be A Full, Independent, And Thorough Investigation’
“These stories are difficult to read, and the allegations brought forth raise serious questions that the women who have come forward and all New Yorkers deserve answers to,” Clinton said in a statement.
Fox News noted that Clinton has been a political ally of Cuomo for years.
“I’m glad to see that there will be a full, independent, and thorough investigation,” Clinton said.
Lindsey Boylan and Charlotte Bennett are the two former Cuomo staffers who have stepped forward to accuse their old boss of sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, and inappropriate remarks.

Female Former Cuomo Staffers Come Forward With Accusations
Boylan came forward first, writing a post at Medium in which she accused the governor of a number of offenses including going “out of his way to touch me on my lower back, arms and legs.”
Boylan also said the governor gave her an unwanted kiss in his office and asked if she wanted to play and “strip poker” with him.
Bennett was the second accuser, the New York Times reported on Monday, “Ms. Bennett, 25, said the most unsettling episode occurred on June 5, when she was alone with Mr. Cuomo in his State Capitol office.”
“In a series of interviews this week, she said the governor had asked her numerous questions about her personal life, including whether she thought age made a difference in romantic relationships, and had said that he was open to relationships with women in their 20s — comments she interpreted as clear overtures to a sexual relationship,” the Times reported.

Cuomo Denies The Claims, But Apologizes For Language
Cuomo denied Boylan’s accusations of unwanted touching on Sunday, though he did acknowledge and apologize for interactions with women on his staff that “may have been insensitive or too personal.”
The Hill reported Monday, “New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) said Monday that she has received a referral letter to move forward on an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment made by two former aides of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.”
Clinton joins many other top Democrats who have suddenly turned on Cuomo.
Far-left firebrand AOC has joined the chorus.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated, “The women who have come forward with serious and credible charges against Governor Cuomo deserve to be heard and to be treated with dignity.”
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said, “I’ve seen him be abusive in a way that would not be accepted by anyone in leadership.”
Perhaps worst for Cuomo, though, is that Joe Biden supports an investigation into the Governor.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters, “There should be an independent review of these allegations. They’re serious. It was hard to read that story as a woman, and that process should move forward as quickly as possible, and that’s something we all support and the president supports.”
