Georgia Voter ID Bill Makes Democrats Furious

Which means it's exactly what the state needs.

Some loony Democrat Georgia state rep was so angry about the recently signed state election reform bill, she had to be arrested on Thursday because she wouldn’t stop trying to interrupt the announcement of the bill.

Good. If she’s that ticked off we know it’s a good bill. Sometimes Republicans and conservatives forget that the more hate and heat they get from the left the better they are doing their jobs. As the saying goes, “When you’re over the target you get flak.”

FNC: “A Democratic representative was taken away from the Georgia Statehouse in handcuffs Thursday as Gov. Brian Kemp, a Republican, signed into law a sweeping, controversial election reform bill. State Rep. Park Cannon from Atlanta was seen placed into a patrol car outside the building by state troopers after she was removed from the building. She had knocked on the door of Kemp’s office as he was livestreaming an announcement regarding the bill, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

“Prior to Kemp’s signature, the election bill was approved by the state’s Republican-controlled legislature. It calls for changing the rules and processes for requesting an absentee ballot, including requiring voters to present valid forms of photo identification. It also limits drop boxes and the early voting period for runoffs.

“Troopers said Cannon was booked into the Fulton County jail on charges of obstruction of law enforcement and preventing or disrupting General Assembly sessions or other meetings. The obstruction charge carries a potential penalty of one to five years in prison, FOX 5 reported.”

“She was instructed that no one was in the front office and to stop beating on the door,” troopers wrote in a statement after the arrest, according to FOX 5 of Atlanta.

More telling heat from the left. “Georgians turned out in record-breaking numbers because they could access the ballot,” Democrat Rep. Rhonda Burnough said. “Lies upon lies were told about our elections in response, and now this bill is before us built on those same lies.” Excellent. He’s not happy.

You know what really gets them about the bill? Voter ID. They know their ages old corruption of the process will now be much more difficult if voters have to show ID. That will prevent miscreants, union goons, and the homeless from being paid off to vote multiple times, using different names, for Democrats. That could give Republicans wins from the local to the national level in Georgia. Thus Democrat elected officials know their seats are on the line and they are acting accordingly.

Americans have to show ID at the bank, at government offices, even at some public functions. But not to decide who will run their community and country? This law fixes that in Georgia.

Joe Biden is not happy with the bill. No wonder. It ties up loopholes that allow Democrats to cheat. Kemp’s reaction to Biden?
