Philadelphia, PA – A shooting occurred outside of a nightclub in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia on Friday night, resulting in 7 people being shot. Philadelphia Police were called to the scene around 8pm.

Authorities say an altercation started inside of the Golf & Social and escalated to gun violence outside of the club. When police arrived on the scene they found seven gunshot victims who were all transported to Temple University Hospital.

Three of the victims are listed in critical condition and four of the victims are listed in stable condition. The ages of the victims range from 17-42.

This area of the city is not known for violence although Philadelphia police said they have had issues with this nightclub in the past.

“This area is not on our radar, we haven’t had issues in this area at this point. But I will say, that social club is problematic. It was shut down at least three times in the past. I know for a fact last year it was shut down,” – Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Joel Dales

Currently police do have a person of interest in custody and are investigating the incident.
