What if you had a trial and the judge was part of the prosecution team, the indictment was ridiculous, and the verdict was known before the trial? Does that sound like a fair process or a farce? That’s right.

Well, Senate Democrat Pat Leahy of Vermont will be the judge at the upcoming Trump Senate trial, the Democrats are trying to remove a man from office who is already gone, and in the test vote the prosecution got 55, 12 short of conviction.

Not to mention, can you prove Trump’s intent? Now I saw his infamous January 6th speech. In this publication we warned the night before and the morning of January 6th that the situation was volatile and the president should have used temperance and caution in his language. Even as he invited the crowd to take a walk to the capitol, it was crystal clear, to a point, what his intent was. But there’s the rub, to a point.

He never said, “Go sack the capitol.” Do I think he knew exactly what the outcome of his words would be? Yes. But proving that in a court is a different matter. As Elizabeth I said, “We can not look inside men’s souls.” Thus, no absolute proof of intent. Not to mention that pesky First Amendment. As such, the whole thing, given the above factors, is a farce designed as Democrat show and tell and nothing more.

FNC: “David Schoen, one of two attorneys who will represent former President Donald Trump in his Senate impeachment trial this month, told ‘Hannity’ Monday that Senate Democrats have already determined that Trump is guilty of the charge laid against him. Schoen told host Sean Hannity that in his view, ‘this process is completely unconstitutional and it is a very, very dangerous road to take with respect to the First Amendment, putting at risk any passionate political speaker which is really against everything we believe and in this country…I think it’s also the most ill-advised legislative action that I’ve seen in my lifetime. It is tearing the country apart at a time when we don’t need anything like that…Can you imagine any American citizen considering it to be a trial in which the judge and jury has already announced publicly that the defendant must be convicted in this case? And in fact, Senator Leahy called on, demanded that Senator McConnell vote for a conviction also … how can we possibly have a fair trial? Chuck Schumer, Senator Schumer promised a fair and full trial. You can’t, when you know that the jurors and the judge are biased going in.

“This has nothing to do with President Trump and the country doesn’t need to just watch videos of riots and unrest,” Schoen said. “We need to heal now. We need to move forward.”
