While the Democrats continue to let Black Lives Matter go unrestricted, a silent purge is taking place within America at the hands of these so-called activists. The media doesn’t dare report on the riots or looting that is destroying America. They are only focused on erasing the memory of Donald Trump, and if that means rewriting our history in the process – so be it.
But again, some may say that the conservatives are wrong and what the Democrats are doing is just, but what is right about burning books that you don’t agree with. Because that is exactly what happened at a Chattanooga, Tennessee library when a BLM activist was caught burning conservative books.
Luckily, the library has since fired the employee who was identified as rapper Cameron “C-Grimey” Williams. But as the ex-employee sees it, he wasn’t fired because of burning books. That would make too much sense. No, Williams is now claiming that he was let go from his job because of racial discrimination.
Before we get into the details of William’s defense, let’s talk about the books he was caught burning. And let’s not forget the small fact that he was only caught burning the books because he filmed the entire ordeal. As for the books being purged, it should come as no surprise that they all held conservative views. The books included, Ann Coulter’s “How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must),” and President Donald Trump’s “Crippled America.”
According to The Post, Williams said, “his boss asked him to weed through the political science section, specifically citing his activist background, and instructing him to take down titles that contained misinformation or where views, attitudes, or information had changed. Books more than 10 years old could also come off the shelves.” And as for him being fired, “To be frank, it’s because I’m a community member that’s been speaking for the betterment of black people for several years.”
That’s right, the rapper Williams doesn’t believe that burning books you don’t agree with is a bad thing. He actually stands by what he did. It should also be mentioned that this isn’t William’s first run-in with the authorities. In 2020, Williams helped organize and lead protests all around the city. While not illegal, he was arrested for deliberately blocking emergency vehicles from giving aid to those in need.
As for the library, a spokesperson released a statement condemning William’s acts of cowardice saying, “It’s our job to ensure that all walks of life have access to information without judgment or prejudice. Whether these materials were actually destroyed in a fire or even if they were just removed, that does go against our policy. Because at the end of the day, we believe that censorship has no place in a library.”
