Throughout his tenure as the President of the United States, Donald Trump not only exemplified what it means to be a true patriot, but he also had the utmost respect for our military. Unlike the current sitting President who thought it was a great idea to throw soldiers, who were there to protect him, out of the Capitol and forced to sleep in a parking garage.

As the news broke, major outlets around the nation ran the story, but many of them left out one crucial detail. While President Biden was okay with tossing the military to the side, President Trump was not. Instead of using the opportunity as a photo op, Trump decided to stay in the background and offer the military his own personal hotel. Knowing how much the military sacrifices in the name of Freedom, Trump was quick to tell officials to allow them to stay at Trump Hotel D.C.

The story of the guardsmen having to sleep in horrid conditions during the winter in Washington D.C. was enough to get majority of the Republicans’ attention as some were calling for quick action to be taken. But it what was said from an anonymous soldier that was most striking.

Talking to reporters, the solider said politicians were happy to take pictures with them and shake their hands but “within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed.”

Not even the first 100 days of the Presidency and Biden is already showing how he can’t handle the job of POTUS. While Biden extended an apology and opened Capitol Hill back up to the soldiers, Republican Governor Abbott of Texas saw the gesture as a slap in the face and quickly released a statement saying, “I have instructed General Norris to order the return of the Texas National Guard to our state.”

While being President isn’t an easy job, Biden and the Democrats focused so much on defaming Donald Trump that they never once thought about how they would run the country if they won. Now, we are seeing that even the most valued members of our society are being treated with disrespect as the liberal left and cancel culture continue their attack on American values.
