According to an exit poll from Tuesday’s runoff election, a strong majority of Republican Georgia voters believe the 2020 presidential election between President Trump and Democrat Joe Biden was not conducted fairly.
CNN and Edison Research for the National Election Pool teamed up to conduct an exit poll in Georgia’s Senate runoff election in which incumbent Republican Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue tried to stave off challenges from Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

‘Three-quarters’ Of Republicans Think Election ‘Not Conducted Fairly’
According to the exit poll, about 75 percent of Georgia Republican voters who participated in the runoff election said that the 2020 presidential election on November 3rd, 2020 was not conducted fairly in their state.
CNN reported, “Among Georgia Republicans who voted in the runoff elections, about three-quarters say that the presidential election in Georgia was not conducted fairly, while more than 9 in 10 Democrats say the election, which President-elect Joe Biden won by less than 12,000 votes, was fair.”
But while most Republicans do not believe the vote was fair in the general election, about 50 percent of GOP voters in the runoff election on Tuesday said they believe their votes will be counted.
Roughly 70 percent of swing voters said they believed the votes would be tallied accurately in the runoff election.
In November, 92% of Georgia Republicans said they had confidence the election results would be counted accurately.

Georgia Republican Voters Changed Dramatically Since November
CNN noted that Republican attitudes about election integrity have changed significantly since November.
Faith in the election system had been cut by about half.
“That’s a reversal compared with November, when 92% of Georgia Republicans were confident that votes would be counted accurately, while only 79% of Democrats felt the same, according to exit polls at that time,” CNN reported.
Biden won the state by just 0.2 percent against Trump, according to Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
The margin of error in the CNN exit poll is +/- two percentage points was conducted by interviewing 5,260 Georgia voters.
